I can't believe someone would do this to such a nice car. Except for a whacker with money in this case.

I think this guy watches way too many detective shows. Maybe he wears a really fancy white blazer to complete the look.

Maybe he's in law enforcement or e,emergency response. Maybe he likes flashy lights. Why are so many people on this forum so critical of others?

From a different video posted by the same guy: "Just a quick video of the discreet/undercover lights and sirens installed onto my 335i for use at my Fire Department when responding to calls..."

Phenomenal thread, OP. Way to jump to conclusions without knowing the whole story or bothering to spend 90 seconds to figure it out.

There's no way to extract yourself from looking like an utter tool in this instance, so now's the best time to stop trying.

I love colored lights and loathe that dingy yellowish light some light bulbs give off. My apartment has accent lights everywhere. I have strategically placed blue, red and purple led's throughout to give off that lovely glow (behind the TV blue / in the bedroom, there is a red glow on the far side of the bed / and in the kitchen purple above the cabinets / etc). I did an LED swap on all the lights in my car. Everything used to light up orange (yack), now they are all blue with a few whites. I'd put neons on my car if I could afford it. With all that said, I can't understand why people hate on those of us who like nontraditional lights.

They're called "volunteer fireman."

Many municipalities have volunteer firemen. These folks have full-time jobs other than being a fireman. This guy probably wants to have a normal car in his day to day life while having the option to rush to an emergency when called. There's nothing crazy about it.

OK. They had them where I lived previously since we didn't even have a full time department. Only the actual trucks had lights as far as I knew. Just the fact that they're on a 335i convertable makes me chuckle and think of Nash Bridges.

I'm wondering, if people will even take him serious.

It looks nice though.
