Anyone else enjoying the heat wave after that long, cold, wet spring we had? Hopefully it stays nice through the 4th.

Well, it has officially been summer for about a week now...and it has been nice out for most of a week now... I'm seeing a direct correlation.

Personally though, 101 degrees is a bit too much of a heat wave for me in June. I would prefer it stayed around 85-90.

A small heatwave at that. The temps are going to drop into the 70's by the weekend

Plan to visit 7/6/10 for 24 hrs, looking forward. It's been 90-100 in Reno, a bit too hot with wind maybe similar to Boise but I don't want to see rain next week.

That 100 degree day was just a teaser for things to come. Expect around mid to late July through mid August to be at a steady 90+, with at least a week of 100+.

I was seriously laughing hysterically 2 weeks ago. I was downtown and people were griping sooo much about it being mid 80s.

I wonder what they did on monday when it was upper 90s? My IDEAL temp would be mid 70s. but i most definetly won't complain about 90s. I grew up and spent most of my life in phoenix. It was 114 there today.
So far this summer their night time lows are higher than our highs....So it really could be worse!

People here want the nice Spring temps to last as long as possible.
Phoenix is rough with the heat, in that repsect I cannot think of a worse place to live, a place that is so hot that your life revolves around trying to keep cool and comfortable. Maybe that is why there seems to be a lot of people from that area who are moving to Boise, there are 5 at my work who recently relocated to Boise from Phoenix and one of their many gripes about Phoenix is the heat.
