Don't know if there are any big tea drinkers here but I think Boise could use a Teavana.I love this place! Being promoted as a healthy city I think this franchise would work out well in Boise.Thoughts? What other stores, restaurants would be nice in Boise? Genghis Grill? Wich Wich perhaps a Cinema Pub?

Teavana looks interesting and is certainly new and different from anything I can think of at the moment. Personally as of late, I've been moving from coffee towards tea. Mongolian Stirfry and sandwiches could work, but seem pretty well covered. We had a "cinema pub" probably 10 or more years ago downtown. It lasted maybe a year, but then again it was a different time.

The Flicks, an art house indie theatre downtown has beer and wine and you can drink while watching the movies. I think Teavana would do well here in the downtown area, even Hyde Park or east Boise. I know the Boise Co-op has a large selection of teas and bulk teas. There is also a tea house called Shangri-La Teas and vege cafe up on Federal Way, they have been around for a while and seem to have a good business.

Teavana sounds cool but put it in Eagle. I love Shangri-La and would hate to see them having to compete with a chain. Still, I also love tea and think a place like that would do well in our valley.

Agreed.. I love Teavana.. I guess I will have to order their teas online since the Boise Mall doesn't have one. There teas really are some of the highest quality I ever have seen. I bought a huge variety and keep them safely in my tins.. I am an avid tea drinker.. I do love the Shangri-La tea house, but don't believe Teavana would be a competitor in most ways. If anything, it will help attract more tea drinkers to the area. Teavana actually help get me more into tea drinking, as I was not nearly as educated about teas until I spent time in the store and the people took the time to help explain me about their different teas.

Any people into black teas must try their Golden Monkey and Yuan Dynasty Tips.. These are by far the best black teas I have ever had in my life and I keep them well stocked.

Teavana may be on the way. Remember that new lifestyle/upscale shopping center being built at Fairview and Eagle in Meridian is supposed to have retail stores new to Boise and Idaho. Also, come on H&M, Boise wants you, but hopefully downtown and not out in Meridian!!
