Ok, I've read many of the forums about Boise. I realize it is a arid climate, however I do like green grass and trees. I have searched continually for employment ops in the Coeur d alene area, but unless I want to work at a box store or other retailer, the jobs seem non existent. I've lived in Colorado, Utah, Alaska, Florida... I cannot wait to get back to the western states. I am 59 yrs old, quiet, private and I will definitely need to find a job immediately. Can anyone direct me to reliable employment or staffing agencies, and a safe clean area of town to start seeking a place to live. I'll be on a tight budget... I love the mountains, and the outdoor life style but also want my creature comforts!

Try Boise Area job search and jobs posting. Find a high quality employee. Find the perfect job.. Also, sounds like the north end or northwest Boise could be a good fit, maybe the Central Rim part of the bench.

Personally I like Job Search | one search. all jobs. Indeed.com for job searches. You can customize it with miles, part-time, full time, salary, etc... It gathers information from newspapers, employer websites, job boards, etc ... and pulls all that information into one site. It is a great job search resource.

Check out the Idaho Department of Labor job search as well if you haven't already found a job. When I was looking, I found it to be a pretty good resource.

I also highly recommend using the Department of Labor. I had a great experience with the staff at the downtown office for job search skill development, resume update services and mock interview experience.
