Hi everybody!

I'm from Las Vegas. Here in Las Vegas dust is an issue. Or at least in most of Vegas. If I dust my house today, another layer of dust is right back a day later. We change our home filters often, Vacuum every day or other day. We keep windows & doors shut or else its much worse.

So I'm just curious how Boise compares to Las Vegas as far as the dust. All this dust cant be healthy to live in. For example do you have to keep your windows shut? Does dust build up just as fast there in Boise?

Thank you!

Have a great day everybody

I think it depends on where you live in the valley and the time of year. Boise is a verdant city and the valley outside of the city and other towns is fertile farm land. Sometimes dust gets stirred up by fields being planted and from forest fires. I don't have to shut my windows because of dust. I do if its too hot or cold outside.

The area around Vegas is much more arid and desolate. Its a different type of desert up here and not sandy like around Vegas. A person has to deal with dust even in Portland.

I've lived in Las Vegas and Boise and the dust in Boise is nothing compared to Vegas! I never really noticed a dust problem in Boise, but I sure did in Vegas.

Thank you! The dust here is a joke! So crazy-lol. Every single day a new layer of fine powder like dust is everywhere!
