I know Boise has a lot, just wondering if there are sunnier spots.

This is being discussed on the Idaho forum right now.
Apparently, Twin Falls is the sunniest at 210 days/yr. Boise has 206, Idaho Falls 201.
Northern Idaho has fewer, mostly due to the lake effect cloudier winters.

You can read it all in the "which area has the warmest winter lows?" topic on the Idaho forum.

So if you don't like the sun head up to Hayden, Moyer Springs or the Panhandle?

Just in the winter. Summers, (and late spring/early autumn), are pretty sunny with scattered cumulus clouds. Cirrostratus/alto stratus occurs, but not all the time.

I will also have to check out Rigby, Blackfoot and Idaho Falls area. I do stay out of the sun.
