In what is shaping up to be a major battle over e-book lending, librarians across the country have banded together to boycott HarperCollins after the publisher decided it would limit the number of times an e-book can be checked out.

It's kind of discouraging that Librarians, of all people, would let marketing dynamics influence their decisions about which books to put on their shelves.
However, I wouldn't have any problem if they put the paper books on the shelves instead of the e-books, and explained to their patrons that they are seeing an example of what the future of the publishing is about to become, and who is going to control publishing, and what their motives are.
