My mother is a huge fan of The New York Times Sunday Crossword Puzzles. So, four times a year I order several of the puzzle books from B&N. The last time was in December 2013. I've never had any kind of problem with B&N.
While I haven't ordered from B&N lately, I do a lot of online transactions. My advice to anyone who purchases online is to buy a prepaid rechargeable credit card. You can purchase it for cash and reload it with cash at a local retailer, and your actual bank account/credit card information isn't tied to it. Put as much as you think you will need in the near future on the card, and when it runs out go back and reload it. We almost never use our actual debit card for online transactions.
I have never thought of that...good idea...thanks...
