^^ Gone Girl, Gillian Flynn. I've got a girl crush on her way with prose.

Ditto! Even if you don't like *what* she writes, you've got to love *how* she writes.

(I've also got a girl crush on LoriBee62's sense of humor on the Food forum. There. I said it. )

Default Girl On The Train

This was one of the most interesting reads in a while for me. It was very interesting to see how people had a different take on things that were happening. I found the main character very flawed but fascinating - it was like a game at times: do you trust her recollections or not?

Man, I feel like I have read quite a few but none come to mind immediately.
Probably because I don't particularly like that switching around.

I wish I had known what it was about before I started it. Yes, it hooks you (the mystery aspect) but I found the characters completely unlikable.

I know what you mean, especially the main character who keeps disappointing mostly everyone in the book that cared about her, and even the readers who wanted her to straighten out her life but every time she would weaken and fall back on her addiction. I did wanted to like her, but it was really hard at times.
