I used to subscribe to some of the Reiman Publication mags...Taste of Home, etc....but found to many repeat recipes per subscription year and way too many box/can/packet/bottle stuff in recipe ingredients. Since I'm allergic to MSG that's a bad thing in recipes to me. I want and like working with fresh ingredients....
I subscribe to POPULAR MECHANICS
However thanks to various friends I get copies of Scientific American, Archaeology Digest, National Geographic, Smithsonian, Biblical Archaeology, Popular Science, New Yorker, Mother Earth News, Mother Jones, Nebraska Farmer, NebraskaLand, NebraskaLife, and a few others. The last are usually a month late but the price is right.
Thanks to these generous friends I hope someday to have a garage built out of papercrete from these donated magazines.
