Mallory's Oracle - film version (mysteries, written)

No, don't panic! They're not making a film out of any of Carol O'Connell's amazing mysteries BUT I have to confess that every time I read and reread these book, I wonder who could possibly play Kathy Mallory and be convincing? I sometimes think that if Michelle Pfeifer were 25 years younger she could possibly do it, but nowawadays? Who has the necessary combo of height, stunning beauty, blonde curly hair, killer green eyes and sociopathic tendencies?

Not since the one where she finally found her father. I'm not even sure if any more will be written but I would miss her tremendously.
