Hello,

We're going to buy a house around Weymouth Ave/Washington Street. But we noticed that WRCT is pretty close. Do you know if it's a really bad to live there because of it and it's not a good idea to buy a house in this area?

And also anything you can tell us about this area - safety, etc - would be really helpful!!

Thanks so much!!

This isn't the best part of West Roxbury...as you might imagine, close to Washington Street, but there are some nice streets and a friend of mine lived on Keystone Street--happily--for many years. That was thirty years ago tho :-)

Don't worry about the stone crusher. You will here the rumble once a day or so but that's it, you will get used to it fast. I would be more concerned about Washington St. It's not a bad area per se but it is not at all an attractive corridor and I would not want to live too close to it, maybe a few blocks away would be decent.

No just ugly and busy, and doesn't have much neighborhood feel.
