92.5 the River. I think it is AAA.
92.9 in a pinch. It’s more rock.
89.7 for news in the morning.
Mostly songs on my phone at this point, though.

The college stations have been fantastic as of late

90.3 WZBC (BC) has been really good for random non radio hits type stuff. Great to discover new music as a geezer.
88.1 MMBR (MIT) has great programing on the weekends.
91.5 WMLN (Curry)

Are all of them live 24/7? Recorded or even repeats times? Deejays for most of all blocks of programming?
Just curious.

You mean 88.1 WMBR, not MMBR, I suppose.

Are these live, 24/7? I think some similar stations go off the air at times.

Yes WMBR. I think for the most part they are live. I have heard a re-broadcast a few times.

What is AAA? Adult something?

89.7 GBH tried a new weekdays morning format last year with Paris and Jeremy, younger voices. I've only tuned in a few brief times, but I think it's a good format with them. I think weekends have specialty shows and/or BBC news in the morning and most of the day?

I find a lot of them on Apple music. Just type the call letters in the search.

Adult album alternative

Quote:
The format has a broader, more diverse playlist than most other formats. Musical selection tends to be on the fringe of mainstream pop and rock. It also includes many other music genres such as indie rock, Americana, pop rock, classic rock, alternative rock, new wave, alternative country, jazz, folk, world music, jam band and blues.
