The five best in NJ that I have had so far are:
1. DeLorenzo's Tomato Pies, Robbinsville NJ
2. Papa's Tomato Pies, Robbinsville, NJ
3. Santillos, Elizabeth, NJ
4. Ellery's Neighborhood Tavern, Middlesex, NJ
5. Amici's, Maywood, NJ

--Honorable Mentions--
Saw Mill, Seaside Park, NJ
Lido Restaurant, Hackensack, NJ

The Shore in general has great pizza
Some like pizza cooked more. You got to take into consideration people have different preferences. I hate deep dish for instance. I don't like sloppy food either. The delucias did looked like it was cooked a bit too much in a video. you might like sloppy food.

Yeah i love overcooked. DeLucas just had no flavor. The sauce dries up and it becomes quite literally, hard.

Grew up on Santarpio's Pizza. Friend lived probably 6-7 houses down so spent plenty of time wrenching on cars in the driveway and walking over to get pizza.

Best local pizza for me today? Fauci's Pizza in Lynn. I will go out of my way to get a pizza here.
