Right, the fact that all these articles keep saying, oh well the adults of the home put the kids in another room to shield them from the dead body is ridiculous. It's possible the place was cleaned up before police arrived but nobody knows how long it was from the time fire got there until police arrived.
I don't think it matters if anyone was cross dressing or wearing a wig. The fact these section 8 people were partying with drugs, alcohol and kids says enough. I'm sorry but if you're in a situation where you're on section 8 and you have kids I wouldnt think there'd be much reason to party in the first place...but these people are most likely addicts who have no intention of getting their lives together.

Drugs and alcohol run rampant in the projects. They also run rampant outside the projects, but housing projects were never a good idea in the first place. They breed more social problems than they solve.

The initial reports say the kids were being hidden. The BPD update claims:
"The parents and the officers who responded felt it was best for the children to stay in another room with one of the parents and took steps to avoid having the children see the deceased."
