I went to law school within about 20 yards of the Drive. I vote for no name change.

Storrow Drive absolutely needs to be renamed: LOW BRIDGE ROAD!

It has a low bridge and wrecks many trucks every year.......its called getting "Storrowed"

It's nice to finally see most of the regulars in the Mass forum finally agreeing on something and not fighting.

Just wait until "storrowed" becomes a racist term after becoming associated with migrants getting furniture delivery trucks stuck in the underpasses so the buyers now won't get that furniture they need to WFH...

He also had two terms as POTUS, if I am not mistaken, although it could be another guy…

I am against replacing a local and treasured name with someone who honestly has little to do with MA and New England. Once of the first Boston street names I learned as a suburban kid in MA was Storrow Drive.

At least your name change idea is clever. We could also use Dwarf Vehicle Drive.

Sorrow drive was the first street I remember after moving to US (landing in Logan)
I cannot imagine any other name.

Obama Boulevard or Obama Drive... just sounds nice. Who is Storrow anyway?

Why do something so stupid as to name a street after a deliberately contentions political figure? If you're going to make an Obama Drive, they should name a Trump Avenue as well, right? No one would have a problem with that, I'm sure.

If you find one name offensive or inappropriate, you can be sure others do with the opposite one. Why create strife and divisiveness for nothing?
