Wasnt really sure where to put this, but hopefully I'll get some feedback from ya'll.

I received 2 parking tickets from City of Boston for not having a Massachusetts state inspection sticker on my newly registered vehicle. The state allows a 7 day grace period from time of registering vehicle to having the inspection done. I received the 2 tickets within the 7 day period. On the 10th day, I had my vehicle inspected, but received no new tickets following the 7th day. Upon talking to the Boston parking clerk, she stated, I was still late in getting my inspection done and may still have to pay the 2 tickets (even though they were issued under the grace period).

Has this happened to anyone else, did you have to pay?

I never was in that exact situation but I can tell ya they are sticklers for inspection in MA. Cops can spot an outdated sticker from across the street and that little tiny sticker on your rear plate will get you cited too! Twice I was cited for out of date sticker - and dude - those damn citations put several hundred extra bucks on your insurance for three - five years.

And get this - add two outdated stickers to three other various citations across five years and your license is suspended! And you will be ordered to remedial driver education on the fourth!
