My wife and kids (8 and 10) and I will be moving to the area in December. I have looked at 50+ homes so far after just returning from a week long visit to see housing and get a feel for the area. I went to college at CSU in the late 80s so I know and love the area. I will be working in Longmont and like the SW part of town because of the schools in that area. I also like Superior because of their schools. I have friends who live in Erie and like the area for its potential but am not sure if I am willing to go through the growing pains of such a newer faster growing community. I am looking for a new home in the 300-350 range. Does anyone have opinions on high schools in the area particularly Monarch, Centaurus, Legacy, and Erie. My kids are in the gifted program currently and this type of program is important to me. Any advice would be appreciated.
