We're planning a trip out to Boulder in May. We have two little ones, I didn't know if there were any fun, kid friendly hotels to stay at?

Kid friendly? Hmm, good question. The Marriott between Arapahoe and Canyon might qualify. I don't know about the St Julien or Boulderado altho they are very centrally located. I know the St Julien has an indoor pool but it's also expensive to stay there. The Best Western (?) down by Foothills Parkway always has lots of families staying, they have an indoor pool and slide right by the lobby entrance but you'd need a car to get into the downtown and back. Are you looking for something right in the centre? Do you have a budget in mind?

I would stay at The Boulderado so you can walk everywhere downtown. The best place to take the kids is along the Pearl Street Mall. You can also walk over to the park by the ampitheater near Broadway between Arapahoe and Canyon. There is a path that goes along Boulder Creek.

I have three young children and just recently moved from South Boulder. We hung out at all the local parks and Pearl Street a fair amount.

You can also check out local activities for the time you are visiting at ColoradoKids.com | Kids Activities, Summer Camps, Colorado Family Events, Colorado Field Trips, Birthday Parties, colorado Restaurants, Colorado Day Care, Colorado Shopping, Colorado Family Vacations, Colorado Deals and Discounts! Just type in "Boulder" in the search box and lots of restaurants, events, activities, etc will come up.

Enjoy your visit! Boulder is my favorite city in Colorado!
