It will be a regular shift. Probably 8:00 to 5:00

If you want to stay within 20 min rush hour commute to 287 & Midway, then you want to be west of I-25 (maybe even Pecos St), north and east of the US36/Boulder Turnpike (which runs diagonally NW/SE, and only has a few crossing points), east of McCaslin Blvd, south of South Boulder Rd (btw south is part of the street name , it runs east/west !)

Thanks everyone for the feedback received. I was looking more into the houses and school districts within Broomfield. What is the main difference between the Boulder Valley and Adams 12 school districts? Why is the BVSD preferred?

Thanks

^^GreatSchools is hardly research based. It's a compilation of ratings based on reviews.

Helpful reviews answer questions

What do you think others should know?
What do you like?
How could your school improve?

Write a school review | GreatSchools

As for Colorado School Grades in the second link, look who's behind that:

Other coalition members include the Colorado Children's Campaign, Stand for Children, the Professional Association of Colorado Educators, the Walton Family Foundation and the Adolph Coors Foundation.

Critics of the group assert that it represents business interests.[38][39]—major funders include the Walton Family and Bill & Melinda Gates Foundations. Education policy analyst Diane Ravitch criticized the group for opposing teacher's unions and seeking to impose standardized testing on public schools.[40] Susan Barrett, former volunteer co-leader of a Stand for Children team in Portland Oregon, left the organization due to concerns that corporate donors and wealthy board members influence reforms.[41] In 2009, Stand for Children volunteers in Massachusetts witnessed an organizational change in favor of promoting charter schools, more testing, and punishing teachers and schools for low student scores.

I did not mean that these two websites had data based upon research.
I meant that the OP should do some research.
Whether or not you agree with the methodology/biases of these 2 sites, they at least provide some useful information about relative performance. And, yes, a parent needs to dig deeper.

Now, to answer the question "Why is the BVSD preferred?". First, that is not the opinion of everyone on this forum or IRL. I agree with suzco. My kids did gymnastics for Broomfield HS (BVSD) and we had a lot of contact with the Adams 12 schools. Basically, they were just like us. My kids, like hers, went through BVSD from K-12. I thought they got a great education and as I stated, they were well prepared for college. One even went to college in that bastion of socialism and great education, Minnesota. (The socialism was her opinion, but MN supposedly has these wonderful schools.) However, it's not all Nirvana. BVSD tends to be very traditional, especially in Boulder and especially in high school. Monarch High's late start day was considered quite "different" at its inception. I think the high schools in Boulder are doing something similar now, but a lot of parents there had objections to it at first, based on conversations with my friends whose kids went to school there, and it was implemented much later.
