Does anyone know of a local coffee shop that can make a proper New Zealand Flat White? Thanks much !

Try Alfalfa's. They brag a lot about their coffee and staff. You probably need to focus on finding a good coffee house and then see if they have a barista that makes the drink they way you like it.

I'm a Boulder County coffee drinker, and had never heard of New Zealand Flat White. Here's a link to the interesting Wiki:

It is prepared by pouring microfoam (steamed milk from the bottom of a pitcher) over a single or double shot of espresso (sometimes ristretto espresso).
