In Pueblo West I hear them yippin right around 3 or 4 in the morning. Then all the other dogs start barking and I can't get back to sleep.

I like that post about the mountain lions. Those things are bad. They, like me, don't need to bark.

I live in N. Louisville near open space. There is a paved bike path through the land, and the grass around the path is mowed. I have seen coyotes walking along in the short grass, lazy bums! Also foxes.

North Boulder: yes, I do hear them often. The neighbor's dog barking is worse, though.

I have seen at least on two occassions of Coyotes in or near downtown Denver. I have seen an albino coyote up in the mountains of Golden/Blackhawk area and wolves in Rocky Mountain.
