I am moving to Colorado from Miami in June. I am counting the days. I can't say I like anything about Miami, born and raised there! I was in Boulder taking my daughter to College and I drove to Fort Collins. I loved the neighborhood in Olde Town with the older frame homes with wrap around porches. I loved the feel of the older neighborhood with lots and lots of mature trees. I was wondering is there any places between Boulder and Denver that have older neighborhoods like Fort Collins? $ 275,000 is my limit and I could settle for a 2/1 or 2/2 if the neighborhood was right.
Any suggestions are appreciated!

Umm, yeah there are neighborhoods like that in Boulder. The Mapelton Hill area is like that. But theres no way youre getting anything with $275k. Youd probably need at least $500k. In fact, I think youd be lucky to find any house at all in Boulder for that much. Condos or town homes maybe. Sucks, but thats the way it is. Youll probably have to look in the surrounding towns.

edit:Oops, didnt see that you put "between Boulder and Denver". Outside of Boulder Im not really sure, Im still new to the area. For what its worth, were looking for a town home in the Boulder area and have a similar budget to yours. You still have to look a bit to find something affordable. We have found some single family homes in that range, but not many. But again, Im new here, so maybe I know nothing! Also, you might want to check out this thread
