That's definitely not true. Driving out of Boulder in the morning and into Boulder in the evening is a LOT better than vice versa. If you don't believe me, so park on Marshall Mesa some afternoon about 5:00, and watch traffic in both directions. Traffic leaving Boulder will be jammed up pretty much all the way from Hwy-36 and Pecos (which is almost to I-25) to Iris in Boulder. That's about a 20 mile traffic jam, moving between 10 and 30 mph. Traffic in the other direction moves about 55.
