I have to admit. I really appreciated this fine fighter. He was a class act. He always tried to be courteous and humble, and he was a great fighter who had the potential to be even greater. I never thought Mosley lived up to his potential after he exploded onto the scene. Hopkins used to compare him to Ray Robinson with the way he fought as a lightweight. He was a puncher-boxer then with his version of "power boxing." It seemed though that as he jumped up in weight, lightening fast arm punches were his trademark. Tougher fighters beat him then. Winky Wright and Vernon Forrest come to mind. Mosley was an entertaining fighter for sure and he will be missed.
