One of the reasons I settled in Bozeman was the downtown. I don't understand when people talk about how there's nothing to do in this town. We love taking walks up Peet's then heading through town and checking it out. The stores are a bit expensive for us though.

I've always said that one of the most impressive things about Bozeman is how vibrant Main Street has always remained. It may have changed in character, but never became rundown and shabby - always active and well used. It is one of the things I liked best about the place.

Is Bozeman one of the 'hot' cities in Montana? If a tourist were to visit Montana would that be an ideal area to stay, visit Yellowstone, and enjoy dining and nightife?

Yes, to all of the above - particularly if you are going to Yellowstone. But keep in mind that Montana is big and seein Yellowstone from Bozeman ain't really a day trip.
