There was an article in the Buffalo News about this yesterday; even the author of the article was taking a few shots at the idea as he otherwise attempted to exhibit journalistic objectivity.
As of the past couple weeks or so? Your location was 'suburbs south of Buffalo NY' up until recently....
Yep. Moved end of august for college. Schools in the South are willing to pay for Northern talent. Going back home to visit next weekend though. Heard it snowed last night; can't say I miss it while it is 70 and sunny here.

Ah, nice. Good luck, man. No offense, but I always thought you were part of the retirement set for some reason...I put you on early-mid 60s or something, hah. Funny how Internet forums work like that
I took a random drive to your territory (past your territory--you're in Lockport IIRC, I went as far as the Newfane Tops before turning around--as I said, random drive, no purpose but to listen to music and chill) from around 3:30-5 yesterday AM, and when I got back to my turf in the West Seneca/Cheektowaga/Depew borderland area, there was a slight coat of snow on the windshields of the cars parked at an apartment complex located not far from my house. But even as I drove, solid precip was falling as far north as I want to say Swormville. Temperature was 38 degrees (according to the car thermometer), so it was heavy snow--thought for a second it might be hail, but it wasn't that heavy. I saw the EVL pic while watching the 6 PM news earlier--almost looked ski-able.
I gotta admit - I don’t miss the Buffalo snow! I moved from WNY to Raleigh 20 years ago.
I travel all over the country on business. When I tell people “up north” that I live in Raleigh, I always get “it’s really hot there.” I politely inform ‘em that “yeah, but I don’t hafta shovel the heat....and, we have air conditioning”
My Ac was thru the roof there when I lived in Billy graham country. Bless ya heart
