Lockport apartment complex sold for $16.215M: https://www.bizjournals.com/buffalo/...-to-begin.html

from the article: "A New Jersey-based real estate investment and management firm has closed on a deal to buy the Urban Park Towers complex in downtown Lockport.

In a series of transactions filed Feb. 17 in the Niagara County Clerk’s office, OAHS Urban Park Housing Development Fund Corp. and OAHS Urban Park TC LLC – both affiliates of Englewood Cliffs, N.J.-based Orbach Affordable Housing Solutions — paid $16.215 million for the 150-unit Urban Park Towers at 77 Main St.

The building had been owned by LH Urban Park Towers LLC, according to the filings.

The deal is part of a $72 million deal by Orbach Affordable Housing Solutions to acquire and renovate the Urban Park Towers and the Niagara Towers apartments in Niagara Falls.

Orbach will spend $33 million to buy and renovate Urban Park Tower apartments. Renovations started this winter.

Both projects received a series of tax breaks in 2022 from the Niagara County Industrial Development Agency.

Orbach, which often works on low to moderate income housing projects, has a similar project under way in Erie County with a $25 million deal connected to the Tonawanda Towers in the City of Tonawanda."

Also..."Brotherhood L.P. of Orange, Conn., paid $115,000 for a 7,209-square-foot, mixed-use building at 69 Simonds St., City of Lockport, buying the property from Barbara Benedict of Buffalo, according to Feb. 17 filings in the Niagara County Clerk’s office."
