Hey
I started a small gig helping the elderly in my area and decided to make it into a mini business and hopefully expand it. I need to know if the name of my new business could be offensive to seniors in general. The name is "WNY Concierge 4 Seniors". https://ceya22005.wixsite.com/wnyseniors

I posted an ad on Craigslist with the services I could help the elderly with, along with my business name, number & website. Four hours later, I received a nasty email and a picture of this guy's privates. He said I was a scum. He then flagged my Craigslist ad and my business ad disappear.

I don't want to be offensive to seniors that are independent, I just want to help those with less mobility and would appreciate errands completed for them.

Your site looks nice. There are probably better places to promote it than Craigslist, as you have already found out. Many seniors are not internet savvy

Try this one, its pretty effective:

Contact Us | Bee Group Newspapers

or

Many thanks for looking at my site and offering this information. Is the name appropriate? Do you think some seniors would be offended?

I think the name is perfect. As a senior, I believe its appropriate and gets right to the point.
