In 2012, Golisano pledged an additional $20 million to URMC to build a new Golisano Children's Hospital, which opened in 2015"

As for Niagara Falls all they show is this one: https://nfmmc.org/directory/location...munity-health/

However they will be building a cancer center in Niagara Falls in conjunction with Roswell Park:

Nope, it's the one in Rochester

I think the one in Florida is in Naples, where Golisano has lived since NYS kicked him out

Thanks for the update. He has donated a lot of money to the Rochester Hospital and its great for their local economy. The Florida one is in Ft Myers which is north of Naples. The real estate in Naples is pretty pricey and the population skews older.

Can you provide a link to NYS 'kicking out" Golisano?

A few years back, NYS decided raising taxes on the "rich" would be a good thing. He left, and as you see took some of his charity with him. He still has homes in Rochester, but officially is a Florida resident and taxpayer.

This state (among others) has kicked the fiscal can down the road for far too long. New York couldn't figure out proper fiscal policy in booming economic times. Now we're screwed. A real crisis has finally come, one that arguably requires temporary overspending, and we have to turn to the federal government. We'll get bailed out because no one can stomach austerity (let's kick the can farther down!), and Albany never learns.

I think kicking the can down the road has gone on far too long. Maybe if there were term limits it might inspire some real change.

CK what is your opinion of term limits? Do you think it would help the state by having some fresh outlooks on things?
