Looking for german family in the buffalo/western new yokr area (New York: schools, live)

I am desperately looking form another german or german/american family in Western New York. I am from the black forest area in Germany and my husband is from Pennsylvania. Our 2 girls ( 2 years and 4 months) are raised bilingual but my 2 year old's german is pittyful. She understands what I say but wont speak german. I was hoping to find a family with children who we can meet for playdates or other activities.

as a kid my grandparents were good at blending German - Italian - and English with a splash of Portuguese in the mix ... we just knew what they were saying somehow.

Try to find someone involved with UB or Buff State, both of those schools have German departments and might know someone.

Unfortunately, most of the "Germans" in or from Buffalo, (myself included) have been in this country for generations and really don't know any German. My family came from Alsace in the late 1800's and I really only know a couple words in German.
