I have friends moving up to Vermont later this month. They're renting a house in Huntington while they look for a house to buy in that area. Until they buy a home, they'll need to board their three extremely friendly Nubian goats. Can anyone recommend a place? These goats are family members and would need loving, attentive care. If someone wants to PM me a personal recommendation, I'll pass it along to my friends.

Thanks!

Wow. That is the most interesting request I've ever read on this forum!

Not much advice to give...maybe a local farmer would be willing to board them? Or are they house pets? In which case, I guess they can try to call some of the local pet boarding facilities?

I think we need some photos of these cuties.

Happy to oblige! And thanks -- my friend is in touch with local farmers but nothing's worked out yet. Though these goats don't live indoors, that thought makes me grin big wondering how our cats would enjoy sharing the bed with them.

Awww...they are adorable. Hm. I think you should experiment and see how the cats would take to them, ha ha.

Ha! We've cracked ourselves up a number of time imagining the possibilities.

After reading the title of the thread, I was intrigued. To be honest, I thought it was some kind of a sport -- skateboarding, snowboarding, surfboarding, goat boarding. Yes. I am a flatlander who is completely clueless! LOL

I hope the three cuties find a cozy, loving temporary home ASAP

LOLOL!!! I'm laughing and wincing at the thought of "goat boarding," a sport or perhaps a method of torture, one step beyond waterboarding. Okay, back to the regularly scheduled (and saner) activity of trying to find someone to board three little sweeties.
