One more question-

As I just said in my last post, I am moving to Burlington from Long Island, NY. I am worried about how my car will manage in the cold weather. I am going to try to use the bus system and walk/bike as much as possible but will need my car mostly likely for a work commute. I have a sports car- a mitsubishi eclipse. Very small. I was told that if I get snow tires I may be okay. What are your opinions on this?

Also- how is the bus system from the New North End?

Thanks again- I really appreciate the help!

Is it front wheel drive? If yes, you should be fine with snow tires.
Not sure about the bus system except that it does go up and down North Ave, the main drag.

Snow tires and you should be good! just dont try to plow through anything too deep or you can end up with the front wheels off the ground sitting on top of compacted snow.
