This forum has proven very useful in all sorts of matters, so maybe it will in this one too!

I am new here, need a cell phone service. I have T-mobile now, but data comes in on their "edge" network - less than 3G. Does anyone use a service that provides at least 3G? If not, I'll just drop the data plan ... I kind of like having things like maps, weather, etc on the go...

Thanks!

Yep: My CREDO Mobile BlackBerry has 3G. In Vermont I get good data service in crazy remote places, but of course not everywhere. Plus CREDO's customer support and tech support are fantabulous.

I have AT&T and I get 3G in many places in Vermont, but not all.

I believe that AT&T is trying to purchase T-Mobile, not sure how that might affect you but could be something to consider.
