I work at FAHC but I am not a resident. The COL is high in Burlington compared to the rest of the state. Resident pay seems to be enough to get by on for the most part, but as you must know, when you figure out your pay to the number of hours worked, your pay comes out to about 50 cents an hour.
Most residents purchase a home or condo while they are here.
Like anywhere else I have worked, you need$ to prove yourself to the staff before they fully trust you. The resident programs are different and some are better than others, but over all the hospital is real good and the residents here are a good group.
