I am looking for advice from those of you involved in the east coast business world. My husband is about to gain part ownership of a new branch in a well-established aerospace technology company. The CEO of this company is throwing a dinner party at his home to celebrate the launch of the business. He has indicated that the party is essentially for my husband. So, what is the proper attire?
I would suggest a basic, but very nice, suit and tie. Since this is a business party and not a formal cocktail party, I would not think that a tuxedo or dinner jacket are needed.
