I am thinking about starting my own non-medical home care business in PA. I have over 8 years experience in management in this field, with an additional 2 years of Geriatric Care Management, but I am struggling with the decision of whether to use employees or independent contractors....any thoughts, especially from those in this field, would be appreciated!
Absolutely, hire employees and make damn sure that they are dedicated. Independent contractors bring their own standards. You state yours! Don't rely on other people's views. Use your best judgment, and it needs to come from your heart.
