Please don't try to put words in my mouth. I made no such claim, or anything remotely like it.
You still misunderstand. I suggested in the OP that I might use the new rules to attract investors to my venture, rather than invest in someone else' venture.

Investing in private equity
They don't get the money back, most often they get product and depending on their amount given, they will get some credit or thanks for it. Take documentaries on Kickstarter for example. You pay X amount you get a producer credit while you may even get higher credits for more money. Similarly, I know one comic that depending on how much you pay into it, you may get featured in a panel or even a page while the initial Kickstarter amount will get you the issues. It's not the typical angel investor/venture capital proposition. The sooner you realize it, the sooner you may learn to understand crowd sourcing.
