Try some of the headstone shops near cemeteries.

Don't go to some super fancy artist they will rape you. There are a lot of guys on Craigslist and sites like that who do concrete countertops or yard statues. They should be able to do something like that for you

Does it have to be concrete? I've always fancied the wood carved bears made from a tree stump. A wood carver might be easier to find.

Look under monuments in the Yellow Pages; the industry has been concentrating expansion beyond traditional grave markers, yet with products suited for those of average means, for a number of years.

Northeastern Pennsylvania seems to be an emerging hot spot for this activity, possibly due to close proximity to large markets, but relatively low labor costs.

And as an afterthought, your particular interest seems like a popular one, judging by what I've seen advertised; so it's possible that items like this might eventually be resold; ebay might qualify as a longshot.

The figure in the picture is what I want to replicate. Want two of them 3 foot tall each. Can be concrete or stone. Any thoughts on how to go about this in an affordable way? I have a one foot tall replica to model from if necessary.

what business can make a stone statute for me?-screenshot_2017-07-28-10-39-09_1501209605849.jpg

OK, that's not a bear.

I think you might try a garden shop that sells a lot of yard art. There are places that specialize in garden statuary. They might be able to order one for you from Asia somewhere, or else know what company might be able to make something like that.

That's a merlion from Singapore and it is like the city's official emblem, so you ought to be able to buy one in any size that you want. Look online and there are hundreds of pictures of different ones in different sizes.

You want a Sculpture Duplication service. The will scan in the article and have a scaled (up or down) reproduction made in whatever material you select. If you can't find a local service through normal business directories, you can contact a company like Direct Dimensions in Maryland and they may be able to refer you to one of the duplication services that uses them for the scanning.
