Me with two other folks are launching a small ecommerce business. We're going to register a Corp C in DE and split the shares in 30/30/40 (40 gets the guy who is going to contribute $10k).
I googled for a while - there are multiple online companies who can fill the papers for $50-150 fee but I'm really confused with the process of putting the first $10k into the Corp at registration phase.
Any thoughts/useful links?

Wouldn't a full draft of the charter etc. delineate these issues? (I believe it should...)

I can see where you are confused.
At the registration phase, you don't have a Corporation yet so you can't open an account under the Corp C's name.

Maybe Google will be your friend and help guide you through this process as you seem to be a neophyte in the Corporate world right now and that's not a good way to start a legit business.
Good luck with your endeavor !
