Like airbnb but for cars.. Anyone ever try renting out a vehicle? I would never do this with a personal car I need to depend on or a high ticket vehicle I owe money on. But I'm familiar with buying vehicles at auction and my father is a mechanic looking to retire. I feel like cheap pickup trucks would be popular as people may have work they wanna do to the house or want to go camping or something. Get a truck for $5,000 rent it at $60 a day averaging 10 days a month thats $600. After Turo takes its cut it be around $400. The truck would be covered in its first year, not a bad investment if it actually works. Plus its not like used trucks depreciate all that much.
