I'd wager the number one reason people start businesses is to be their own boss. Of course customers are the boss's boss, but you can fire customers. If you're answering to investors, suddenly you have a boss you can't fire.

Margins are very slim for businesses that employ armies of workers. Combine that with expensive tech and you're in the red.

I don't think your idea will work.

Truly, the last mile and delivery services have been tried so many times now. We got robots on the road, drones in the air, Musk is going to bore out tunnels underground.

If it's food....you want to pick it up from a temp controlled area....you really do. The packing alone needed to ship frozen or refrigerated to a home is just horrible for the environment.
