California lawmakers consider license plates that flash ads | L.A. NOW | Los Angeles Times

While this is simply just for California, imagine if this passes and spreads across the country and even the world! Every traffic jam would look like a massive Las Vegas strip! And, don't forget what hackers can do- show adult content to minors.

I'll do you one better: No license plates, please. If the government wants to hang a metal plate on my car, it should get my permission and pay me a fee.

How about just a license plate number on a license plate??? How's this crazy idea gonna work when there's a high speed pursuit, or a hit and run accident, or any situation which requires getting the license plate number? Will we be given a remote to "fast forward" through the commercials so we can get to the plate number???

I wouldn't have this on my car. I don't even like bumper stickers.

This lame idea will never fly. Im really surprised no one has gone "postal" yet on the politicians in this state & country.
