I've read quite a few articles about Meg Whitman and I've listened to her debate and I've watched some of the Youtube videos that are available.

I'm struck by a few things about her.

Does she ever say she will "work with" people? I hear her say she wants to lead, she wants to cut, she'll do this, she'll do that -- but I've never heard her say that she'll work with the legislature... Did I miss something? California needs a team player as much as it needs a leader. Arnold was a leader and look where it got him.

Does she ever take questions from reporters and does she ever answer the exact questions they ask? I read lots of talking points repeated over and over but no real new information. She really doesn't answer a lot of questions. She talks around them and she drags them back to her talking points but I don't find her very responsive. Is this what we can expect in the future? She's like a doctor that you go to see about your knee but he can't quit talking about your colon.

Now that she's down to her last few days, I hear a lot of "we, we, we" but I still don't hear what SHE is going to do for US. "We will win" means nothing to an independent who hasn't selected a person to vote for yet. This is a really bad sales job.

I also have noted that she blinks her eyes a crazy amount of times when answering a question. This usually means the person is lying, according to body language. Is this a joke or something? I've never seen anyone blink so much. Check out some of her FOX interviews. She's just all aflutter.

Aside from the fact she isn't Jerry Brown, I don't see why people are voting for her.

Every time she blinks, she rakes in $50 grand. If I could do the same, I'd be in a perpetual self-induced epileptic fit.

...Arnold was a leader...

Surely you jest. The girly man was a limp wristed kinda sorta republican-democrat-undecided cluster****.

The last thing CA needs is a "team player", especially considering the "team" it's got.

It's too funny but there is a FOX interview on YouTube.... She's working those eyelashes HARD! It bugged me because no one blinks that much naturally. It's really weird!

Yeah, but the Legislature is all elected. How can someone actually tell other elected people how to vote? If they chose to vote opposite her, what can she do?

Why doesn't she want to work with these people? Where does she think she is going to get working against them?

And Jerry Brown? Let us see here, the ENTIRE mess Kalifornia is in now, is a direct result of HIM being in charge. The entier public employee pension system, can be directly put on Brown's shoulders; you know, read on here. All these liberals complaining about public employee's getting these pensions. Well, they are because of Brown; yet you fools will re-elect him.

Not too mention, those pensions; isn't that the liberal/socialist way? Isn't that what California has stood up for? You know, "Power to the people?" Unions, democrats, and socialism? That is what Californian's have wanted for years. More socialist programs. Childcare, healthcare, sanctuary cities, make love, not war doctrines. You all wanted it and you got it. Now its time to pay and you whine like 2 yr olds.

Well, she did say she would encourage the Senate and Assembly to form little "teams" about various issues like transportation, business, education etcetera, because she was totally unaware that they already did that (they're called "subcommittees.")

The Meg Whitman supporters (and those who consider her too liberal and soft) want someone who will push people around, bully, threaten, and dominate. That's what they consider "freedom"--if I'm in charge, it's my way or the highway. If you aren't in charge, you have the freedom to shut up and do as you're told or get the hell out.
