Majin, I just don't see any way you could support your belief that "taxes are at their lowest rate in over 50 years." Sales taxes have gone nowhere but up. Property taxes have also trended up. Income taxes? I'm pretty sure they've gone mostly up, although I've seen reductions from time to time.

IMO taxes are near historic high levels but not at historic highs. Anybody care to comment on this?

That's me, although I prefer to describe myself as 'retired.' I'm leaving CA because I see no way we can sustain government spending nor government services, and I'm expecting a big part of the solution will be increased taxes.

I'm expecting to be a renter or permanent RV'er for the next 1-2 years and then see how things are doing before I decide where to buy my next house, and when. It's been good, but all good things come to an end. Eh, California?

From what I've also heard it makes sense until you factor in what Bill didn't tell you: Wisconsin has a $137 budget deficit, but in January, the Governor pushed through $140 million in new spending to special interests.

I do not think the deficit is 137 Billion, but only 3.3 billion in worst case. Can you document your data, and the 140 million in new spending?

What specifically was the special interest spending?

If this happened in California under Brown, I'd expect the sun to rise in the west and for it to start raining frogs.

Could someone go through La Petit Liang's posts, and see if he or she, la petite or le petit, gawd knows, has ever done anything except whine?
