If you read the followup (which apparently half of you are too lazy to do but still want to make comments), it WASN'T a SWAT team, just regular police, and it had nothing to do with student loans but with criminal charges pending.

The local media interviewed the victim who gave first hand accounts of what happened and had a copy of the search warrant in his hands which I'm sure the media read. We saw the door that was destroyed. It was not just local police. The federal department of education has not said what the reason was but they admit they were behind it. At this point I believe the victim unless I see evidence otherwise.

The criminal charges were related to the student loan money, in essence it sounds like fraud, a white collar crime. Since when do the break down doors with guns drawn for such charges?
