Seems like we have a little internal disruption taking place here:

Senate Environment and Public Works Chairwoman Barbara Boxer said she hopes green groups sue President Barack Obama over his decision to punt a regulation curbing smog-creating emissions until at least 2013.

Boxer...said she will stand by those groups in any litigation to force the administration to issue a final ozone rule that goes beyond what was enacted by President George W. Bush.

P-r-a-g-m-a-t-i-s-m is the word of the day kids. Boxer would do well to learn it as would environmentalists.

I agree with Barbara Boxer, however, Barack Obama has consistently sided with conservatives on more than one occasion and on many issues-which is why I find it odd that they hate him so much since he's ultimately caved in to most of their demands on nearly every issue.

Monty, its about the country as a whole, not "siding with conservatives" or any other partisan interests.

Probably just have a distaste for weaklings and those who can't stand behind their stated principles and lofty claims.

What a disappointment he has been!
I don't hate him but i sure won't vote for him again ... or anyone for that matter.
Until we break free of this dismal system, i won't take any part in it.
There was a small window of opportunity that Obama could have and should have taken advantage of in order to create radical change in this country and he has failed!!!
I appreciate his intelligence, articulateness, and balanced temperament but he lacks both balls and vision.
I'm pretty sure the window has closed and that we're going to be facing some really fracked up times.
He could have saved the day.
Many thought he would.
Tragic.

Hear Hear. Except, I saw him for the clown he was before he got elected and never gave him my vote. Did I vote for morons in the other party? No, because they were even bigger idiots/liars.

Was this a cap and trade regulation or one aimed the auto industry? Either way, it's obvious the president feels now is not the time to put more regulation on such industries. I think California can wait two years.

Its all about Obama wanting to be re-elected. He won't push any agenda that he feels his opponents can use against him.

I agree that he could have saved the day ... he could have become one of the best Presidents in our life time. He had everything going for him including bi-partisan support. But he choose to go a different path. A path of dirty Chicago style politics with an liberal extremist view ... he also seems to have this passion to support Islamic Muslim power in the world.
