Yep, this is why I don't believe the government when they said there's just no money left. Its like someone with a trust fund hitting you up for dinner money because he's low on cash.

Won't work. I just received a voter registration form in the mail sent to the address not me (I'm already registered). Anyone (legal or not) can easily fill it out and vote. How do you think the people living off our taxes will vote? Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure our how the California liberals will get what they want.

Crooked all the way down to voter registration. Liberal is fine until it begins to take away other peoples freedoms, encourages fraud and costs people money.

I have only voted in one other state and we had a much tighter voting process.

We cannot vote by mail unless it is due to following reasons

Can anybody vote early by mail (once referred to as absentee voting)?

A.Only specific reasons entitle a registered voter to vote early by mail (no longer called absentee voting). You may request a ballot by mail if you:
  1. will be away from your county on Election Day and during early voting;
  2. are sick or disabled;
  3. are 65 years of age or older on Election Day; or
  4. are confined in jail.
And if you vote early you must do it in person as all other voting is required.
Who is eligible to vote early? What are the dates for voting early in person?A.Any registered voter may vote early by personal appearance (in person). Early voting by personal appearance for the July 31, 2012, Primary Runoff Election begins on July 23, 2012, and ends on July 27, 2012. You may vote at any early voting location in your county of registration.

I was really surprised when I moved here that we could just mail our votes in vs. showing up in person. All registered voters in Texas are in log books. When you show up to vote you must have proof that you are who you say you are and you must have a current voters registration card and you must vote in your assigned district. You also sign the book so that you can't sneak back in and vote as many times as you want.

The voting system in CA certainly open for fraud and corruption. What a shame!
