Let's put it this way, during the 20 years I worked with the California State legislature, they never learned a damn thing. That's one of the reasons the state is in the mass in it is. All they seem to know is tax and spend.

Can they learn? Perhaps! Will they learn? Probably not!

One would hope California would learn from France: low cost higher education, universal health care, etc. Sadly...I doubt they will.
