Not following the latest sensationalist hysterics means a person is naive?

Everything? Even prophylatics?

But good question: how DID the pioneers carry their lunches without plastic? Hell, what about all those buff guys that built the pyramids? All sweaty with bulging muscles moving those huge stones around. Certainly THEY ate BIG lunches. What did they use to carry their PPJ samiches in?

Well, I use them for trash bags and to clean the cat's litter box. So now I'll have to buy trash bags. I like the small size as I take the trash out frequently, so looking on Amazon I can get 50 4-gallon bags for $6. This is what it boils down to for me.

Yeah! I bet the journalist found it just hysterical. But I doubt you'll volunteer to be next.

I'd rather be naïve than unfeeling.

1) Carry empty bags into store.
2) Get shopping cart.
3) Shop and place grocery items in cart.
4) Take groceries to check stand.
5) Give checker bags.
6) Have full bags placed in cart.
7) Wheel cart to car and place full bags in trunk.

Alternative: Purchase groceries two bags at a time.

Not following all the news stories of a world where crime, horror, injustice, stupidities, depravities, and endless speculations are ceaseless doesn't show a "lack of experience, wisdom, or judgment".

na·ive
nīˈēv/
adjective
(of a person or action) showing a lack of experience, wisdom, or judgment.
"the rather naive young man had been totally misled"
(of a person) natural and unaffected; innocent.
Neither does it show an "unfeeling" nature.
Not immersing one's self in the pageant of insanity can be an act of willful focus on other aspects of life - and done without denial. Your and others' outrage changes what? This act of lunacy will never be repeated now that people around the world have reacted in horror? It feeds the perpetrators. It was an act of theatre for them. We are their audience.

There's nothing naive about accepting the world's insanity and refusing to participate in it.
